I Am Your Entire Events Department in One Pair of Shoes...
If you're here, reading this, you're likely looking to do some sort of event. Maybe it's a fundraiser or a branding event for your organization, maybe it's a show you wrote and are going rogue and putting it up for yourself.
Perhaps your organization has everything in place except an Events Dept. and need some guidance on best practices to ensure a successful experience for your audience.
I have been involved in producing live events - from theatrical productions to trade shows - for nearly thirty years in Chicago.
My resume includes my nearly twenty years experience producing theater for both WNEP Theater and the Chicago Improv Festival, working as the House Manager and Audience Services Manager of NPR's "Wait Wait...Don't Tell Me!" as well as ten years producing live events for Chicago's local public radio stations, WBEZ 91.5 and Vocalo 91.1.
With serious in-the-field expertise in everything from panel discussions to 5,000 person expos, storytelling festivals and touring productions of Broadway hits, there are few in Chicago with such an expansive range of experiences and both the administrative and logistical know how to assist you build a successful live event from soup to nuts.
